## What Nomoads does

Nomoads is a mobile app that blocks ads, trackers, and malware domains at the DNS level across your entire phone. When any app tries to connect to a known ad or tracker domain, Nomoads blocks the DNS lookup before the connection is made.

Unlike browser extensions that only work inside one browser, Nomoads filters DNS requests from all apps—including games, social media, and news readers.

All filtering happens on your device. Nomoads uses a local VPN interface to access DNS traffic, but does not route your internet connection through a remote server. Your DNS queries are checked against on-device blocklists and are not uploaded for filtering.
